Broadcast Burlesque!

Audiences tuned in to the Rendezvous on November 8 for Broadcast Burlesque! Thrilling adventures! Daring drama! Striptease in stereo! Scarlett O’Hairdye, producer of the only badly lip-synched burlesque B-movie Showgirls of Beast Island, and her compatriot Sailor St. Claire, producer of Tuesday Tease, teamed up to transform the Jewelbox Theatre into a recording studio to celebrate the bygone days of radio drama… with a burlesque twist.  Featuring the vocal and striptease talents of Bolt Action, Fosse Jack, Sin de la Rosa, Sailor St. Claire and Scarlett O’Hairdye, the show followed the nior adventures of Lesbian: PI and then the otherwordly space politics of Bolt Action: Moon Mayor in two original radio plays, written by Marcus Gorman and Scarlett O’Hairdye, respectively.

Boobs Against Humanity!

Produced in association with Jo Jo Stiletto Events for two shows on December 6th, 2014, Boobs Against Humanity: A burlesque show for horrible people! was weirder than inappropriate yodeling, more fun than dropping a chandelier on your enemies and riding the rope up, and sexier than flying sex snakes.  After waking up half-naked in a Denny’s parking lot, the cast banded together to create acts based on ideas that sprung from one ill-conceived all-cast game of Cards Against Humanity.  The show featured burlesque performances by Bolt Action, Sin de la Rosa, Will Lykya, Wiggles McButterpants, Bunny Von Bunsmore, Ariel Echo, Scarlett O’Hairdye, Dizzy Von Damn, and Jesse Belle-Jones, the Modern Sexual Intellectual!  It was hosted by Vanadium Silver, MAN OF SCIENCE!
